Back in April we were talking about the Crozier/USS Roosevelt incident.
On 19 June, the US Navy re-adjusted their position on re-instating Cmdr. Crozier to line duty and have officially relieved him of command [story here]. He, apparently, will not face a courts-martial which would seem appropriate considering his actions – insubordination and unilaterally taking a capital ship off the line.
Do we remember the resignation of the Navy Secretary that occurred over this incident and the heightened level of force vulnerability that occurred at the time? Oh… ancient history? Ho hum… next…
