I have to make a small shout-out to Xero shoes and sandals.  Since you, good reader, are from the reasonable minded stock, you could probably figure that I don’t have much use for shoes.  I’ve tried minimalist shoes in the past, but have always been disappointed.  They have always felt… well… like shoes.

Enter Xero.

I managed to snag a pair of Veracruz sandals for an, “okay-I’ll-give-it-a-try” price, and man o’ man!  I wasn’t expecting much to be honest, but these things are incredible!  I’m not sure how they do it, but your feet feel as close to barefoot as you can get while still feeling that they are strapped in snugly.  I find myself wanting to wear them… that’s certainly never happened before.

Xero is premium footwear and priced accordingly, but I’ll have to say are truly worth the asking price.  And you won’t hear me saying that very often.  Incidentally, this is strictly me here (as always)… not paid or enriched in any way by Xero to post this… I really do personally like these puppies!  Check them out at xeroshoes.com… get a pair… you will not be disappointed.
